ublication is an imprint dedicated to fostering the creation of books as artworks.

ublication are published in a signed and numbered edition of 65 copies.

ublication have no fixed printing technique, paper selection, or binding. All depends on the artist’s wishes.

ublication bear no unwanted burdens.

ublication are sheltered in a specially conceived casing, bearing the ublication imprint and the technical information regarding the title they enclose. Each copy’s individual edition number, its title, the artist’s name, and their signature are on the casing. What happens inside is up to the artist.

ublication was founded in the winter of 2020 by Gregorio Magnani. Its graphic identity, design solutions, and material research are developed in collaboration with Wolfe Hall.

ublication believes that artists’ books come to life in the direct encounter with the reader and should not, if at all possible, be sequestered under glass.

Exhibition Copies

To encourage interaction, 20 copies of each ublication, are set aside for loan.
